From the Beatitudes: Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called children of God. Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven.
Dear Lord Jesus, Almighty Heavenly Father and the Holy Spirit,
What I want and pray for most in this world is peace -- the peace that passes all understanding -- for all people -- the peace that only King Jesus can give. Lord Jesus, this world so greatly needs your peaceful and loving presence right now. I pray today, again, that You, Lord Jesus, return to this earth this Christmas season and restore peace, truth, justice and order to this world -- and compassion and love, most especially. Thank you, Lord Jesus and Father, for making me a Lutheran, one of the most peaceful denominations of Your church, and blessing me with a peaceful place to live. I also pray for a peaceful place to worship you, Lord Jesus, this Christmas, with my mom, who is also a very peaceful person. Please only play peaceful Christmas worship music from now on during this Christmas/Advent season. Lord Jesus, bless all my friends who are reading this today with the peace that passes all understanding and also, joy -- great joy -- this Christmas season. I love you, Lord Jesus, I adore you, Lord Jesus, and thank you, Lord Jesus, for always remaining by my side and carrying me. I pray again for healing and restoration of my family and my health and to serve you, Lord Jesus, in all of the ways that you have made me to serve you and share Your love and compassion and amazing grace with the world. MAY I WALK IN YOUR WILL AND YOUR WAY, TO THE GLORY OF YOUR HOLY NAME, LORD JESUS AND HEAVENLY FATHER. IN JESUS' HOLY, RIGHTEOUS, BEAUTIFUL, GRACIOUS AND MOST OF ALL LOVING NAME. LOVE ALWAYS, DIANE
